Hello, i use computer to process audio, and i have a firewire audio interface.

The problem is, my computer is an ACER ASPIRE 5736Z i just have usb, SD, Multimediacard and HDMI. Nothing more.

Is there a way to convert usb to firewire.

I know that firewire is faster than usb, but my audio interface have two firewire outputs, is there a way to connect it? And make it work?

hope somebody can help.

The USB port can't be used to connect to a device's firewire connector except in some very limited circumstances like a DV camcorder.

What you need is an expansion card

also go here and have a browse around

Windows 7 don't support firewire. so if you have windows 7 on your computer you need to find out if the adapter work with it or not before you buy it.
