Yeah, same here, now... just to get my parents to pay off the rest (im 14) :P
Lol, I could just imagine Autoboot in his car on a road trip hooking a ps3 up to those little screens you get in minivans and playing, then his friend goes, why dont you get a psp? and he would be like, if you don't have a working ps3 then I see no reason why you should get a psp. Hehe read above! Sorry for that autoboot2000 i just think of some stupid stuff sometimes :P

I have a psp but I refuse to get that piece of junk they call ps3. I plug my portable devices into the TV if I need to do something that requires a larger screen.

lol so it's vice versa for video games huh? I'm vice versa of what you are. I like portable computers but stationary consoles.

autoboot2000, if you could read I said you don't know his situation, for EXAMPLE I'm in the navy so a laptop is better for me. I'm pretty sure he is not in the navy but he probably doesn't want to sit at his desk for hours on end, the couch is usually more comfortable. And did you research what laptop would have been best for him, dude Dell is overpriced for gaming. Hp and gateway are far better for his needs and price.

Right now at futureshop in canada..they have an Acer for $1099.99, has 2.0ghz cpu, 4gb ddr3 ram, 9600gt graphics, blueray dvd, hdmi, esata, 18.4" lcd...plus more..

Can't go wrong...

Bullshit I have a desktop behind my tv and a wireless mouse and keyboard so I can go where ever I want in the living room and have it on my big tv.

Yeah, but he could live with other people (family or might live in a dormitory) and they might want to use the tv, and he might want to talk to some people on IM or internet and he might not want other people to see what he is saying

Precisely. In addition to this, you can bring a laptop to, say, a university class. You can't exactly lug a television and a desktop tower in there and plop in down on floor beside you.:)

Yeah you can, if you get the HP slimline desktops! They can fit in a high quality bag (though the bag would cost more than the desktop + monitor!)!
