Hey guys,

I am going to college for electrical engineering and want a computer that is good running engineering programs. Also it needs to be good for playing Soldier front. I have a budget of up to $900. Please recommend me some!

Something else to consider at the professional level. Im not a gamer. BUT electrical and electronic. Still being used in industry is a 9 pin serial port. Obsolete yes. Many shops, industry's for PLC, thyristor, phase devices, SCR firing packages etc. USB to 9 pin serial does not work for industry and they will not update or change out until its over and does not work. Then update. Only one i know they still makes it is Dell. Im retired.
You would have to check there site. Just a thought to consider.
The 9 pin is used to connect hardware for access on site like programming and troubleshooting.
Talk to your school or instructor and get his thought and ya can do it right the first time.
