Laptop for mother in law??

Hi, I am looking for a bullet proof (if such exists) laptop for my mother in law. All she wants it for is emails and online shopping. I want to spend the least amount possible.

Reccomendations??

If you go with ebay, make sure an check their feedback. If they have a low number of feedbacks, I go with no less than 100% Positive feedback. If they have alot of feedbacks, I can let 2 or 3 percent go. Ebay has a nice selection of laptops. If you get a newer dell laptop, those are pretty good. Some of the older dell laptops are not very good.

I wouldn't get refurbished. I've bought a few refurbished things and they all stop working within a couple of months.

buy her a toughbook... they practically are bulletproof, yet not too powerful and really expensive
