Laptop for university

Hey,

My friend needs a laptop for university and has asked me to help because I know a bit about computers (but not really about laptops).

Anyway, she wants it to have good battery life and a good sized hard drive. She wants to be able to use it for studying i.e documents, to browse, and to Skype.

Her budget is £600.

Anyone got any suggestions on a good laptop in that price range? (it doesn't have to be as much as £600).

Take a look at the range of laptops offered by Samsung. They have good battery life. I'm pretty sure most laptops would come with enough hard drive size, so you needn't worry about it.

I'd go with the hp pavilion, I know a lot of people who have them, and they all work great.
