From the looks of it, you don't have a dedicated video card, and that's going to be your biggest downfall. From the looks of the requirements, you're not going to meet them. It might be playable, but probably not smooth at any setting.

If money isn't a issue, check out http://www.pro-star.com They're first in industry to build a custom laptop with dedicated GeForce 7600+ video cards and even SLI.

Note: Alienware has contract with them to use their high-end model as the platform for their Area-51+ gaming laptops. Alienware does not manufacturer them, ProStar does. You may also check out ProStar's sister company: http://www.sagernotebooks.com

You will find the craziest laptops in the world.

i just got the laptop that is in my sig, it is AMAZING!!! i have played every game that is highend and have been able to play them ALL with MAX settings, and NO LAGG. and if ya got the money you could get the dual video cards but for me i didnt want the heat or have the money. GL

hmm i dont know that you will be able to run games on high, but if you move stuff around and change out the graphics card, i think you could run games fairly decently.

And your battery last how long with the 7950? 2 minutes? :P

For heaven's sake don't spend two grand on a new laptop... It's not necessary. You could get something for about 1200-1500 after deals that will be more sufficent from Dell (after coupons). You can use google to search for "dell coupons" and look for ones that are for the inspiron laptops. Two years ago I got the one in my signature for 1200 USD after I used a $700 off coupon, so shop around if you are going to buy something new.

Sorry to once again go against you with the Dell thing Cryption :P

Hear hear, what did you get your laptop for? Did you just got it to play games? Then its not economic to get a gaming laptop because at the price of your gaming laptop, you can get an even BETTER desktop PC. Plus a gaming laptop defeats the main purpose a laptop was designed for which is portability.

lol styrak, who really cares how long the battery lasts, when we buy laptops for gaming its cause we want a badass computer that we can game with AND be able to pick it up and move it (be mobile) for other things besides games.

i really dont know why some people focus on this when they hear Gaming Laptop. and with the rig i have in my sig, if DONT game, and just listen to music, watch dvds, search the web, i get about 3-4 hours use time. witch is pretty dam good in my opinion. yess there may be better, but ive never needed more, so im pretty happy.

sry if this seems like a flame, im just ranting :D

I got mine because I wanted to be able to game and also be able to bring it with me on trips in such, making it economic. It's not economic to by a desktop for at home gaming and a laptop for portability either, so in the end the laptop is at least just as good.

Yeah I suppose it's alright if you also use it as your main computer. You can game while it's plugged into the wall, but also be mobile (but not game as hard)
