Laptop HDD Partition?

I recently bought a new Acer Aspire 1410/14 notebook, and it runs great and everything, but what bugs me about it is the hard drive partition. One half is 26.3 gigs and the other is 26.5. I'm wondering, is there a way to get rid of the parition so I just have one big drive? Suggestions are appreciated.

The easiest method would be Partition Magic Not free, but an excellent program.

Windows does have it's own partitioning stuff, but you have to reload it. Partition magic isn't suppose to mess anything up, but there's always the chance something will fail and you will looks everything.

Me, I like to reload my systems as I can. I always can see an difference in performace after so much junk builds up on your system...
