Laptop help needed

few questions

Whats more expensive a laptop or a desktop?

and

i don't really know that much on specs its started to confuse me a bit, would these specs be good for a laptop?
Operating System- Windows XP Service Pack 2
Processor - Intel® Core™ 2 Duo 2.0 GHz, Core i3, AMD Athlon™64 X2
Memory - 2 GB RAM
Hard drive - 25 GB available HDD space
Graphics card - NVIDIA® GeForce® 7800, ATI Radeon™ X1800, Intel HD 3000
(256MB of video RAM and shader model 3.0)

would this be an expensive laptop? could someone at all help me find one the same or a bit better?
 
Windows XP is no longer supported. Find something with windows 7. What do you plan on using the system for? If general web browsing, email, facebook then any cheap desktop or laptop would work. Just make sure it has windows 7 or windows 8.
