Laptop Help

Hello,
I am in the market for a laptop. The use will be for surfing the net, photos, music, & some word processing and financial programs. Can someone recommend what to look for or what's suitable for this use (i.e. processor, memory, etc.), or even a specific brand. Any info is greatly apprecaited!!
 
the search button is great!!!

but i would suggest a dell (one of the cheap ones, if all your going to do is whats written above)
