Laptop issues. Log included also.

Ok, I have been using a friend of mines laptop for about 3-5 days now, don't really remember the exact dates. The reason? Don't ask me why, it's a very long story. One of the reason's why I seem to not post too much because of so many things wrong.

But to give you guys the idea, ironically he has the laptop like mines, a Toshiba M45-S351. So I gave him mines while I use and try to fix his. He has a bunch of stuff that I got fixed but there is this one thing I can't get.

One, he keeps getting a blue screen but there is not error code or any .sys files listed in the prompt so I have nothing to look into. This seems to happen most when he's online and using a media player (wmp, winamp, etc.) to listen to music or watch videos. It also happens sometimes randomly, but most of the time during that instance. Sometimes, I have to make a hard shutdown, sometimes it reboots. I have unchecked to reboot from system failure but it didn't fix it, I'm sure this is an easy fix to make it from rebooting so I can get the info. down but I guess I haven't came across the settings yet. I have went through the troubles of updating most of his firmware on his apps and hardwares if not all, uninstall/reinstall media apps, snooped around the registries, all windows updates are current, and the usual troubleshooting. I have checked the memories and tried a replacement, but nothinng wrong. memtest came up with no errors either.

I'm sure you guys might want to see the blue screen, but once I can get one that doesn't reboot for me, I will post it.

Notice the space between the ex and e. Usually a sign its malware. Also with all the crap on that system ie- bootskins, sometimes it really messes the system up. Just a thought. You could always run the dianogstic scan from Kaspersky http://kaspersky.com/kos/english/kavwebscan.html
Click Accept
When the updates are finished downloading, click Next, Scan Settings
Under Scan using the following antivirus database:, select extended
Make sure the Scan Archives and Scan Mail Bases options are selected as well. Click OK
Click My Computer and wait for the scan to finish
Click Save Report As. Under Save as type:, select Text file. Save this log to your Desktop.If any infections are present, post a copy of it here.
 
Ah, I see. Well, this laptop does have kaspersky before and scans removed most of the stuff it did detect, but since then it has been removed. If it is anything, I'm sure it'll be having some effect. I browsed through other numerous logs and issues online for this exact entry and found that no one identified it as harmful; but if something does happen, I'll take actions. Thanks for the tips.

As far as the other problem, if anyone has any idea or anything, please let me know.

The only avenue left is a 'Software Conflict' and there's alot of crap on that system that could cause it. Even Zonealarm is not the friendliest firewall, that's for sure. Either nuke it or un-install most of the programs, use a registry cleaner and start installing the programs again one at a time to see which one is causing it.
