Hi, i am quite new to laptops but know a bit about desktops. I am simply getting a laptop for the convienience of the portability and size.

My dad has just built a desktop for £500. Its very nice as the spec is brilliant for the money - 1 gb of ram | 160gb of hard disk | Under 3.0 ghz.

I was just wondering if you could reccomend any other good laptops in my price range.
