Laptop Not Working After Drop Down

Hi,
I got Toshiba Laptop , It was accidently drop down and stopped working.

When i press the Power button i could hear a sound and later silent.
Nothing comes on screen too.

I disconneted the HDD and connected it as portable HDD to my Desktop PC and its working fine. NO PROBLEM WITH HDD.

What could be the problem and any self repair help would be appreciated.

What kind of sounds do you hear? Any lights illuminate? Any fan activity? Any keyboard lights (IE can you press the "lock" buttons and get the light? Have you tried an external monitor?
