Laptop overheating and DLR in Identity card.

I have now had some problems for a while, my ACER ASPIRE 5942G overupheats and turns itself off as a safety procedure.

I've tried to get help from the acer support, but since my warranty has expired they don't really put in alot of support.

I were told to perform a recovery, and set the computer back to factory standard.. After doing this I were supposed to send them the DLR that I would find in the program identity card.

After the recovery I opened the identity card, but the DLR box was empty, I then called support again and the incompetent lady on the other line told me I obviously had not performed a recovery, even though I know I did..

I have now therefor done another recovery to fabric standard(Alt + F10), and I am now 100% sure I did it correctly both times now, and again the DLR box is empty and everything else is filled out..

Everything you got, meanings and solutions is wanted.
Do anybody know how I can find/get a DLR?

Thanks in advance! =)

Have you tried taking a can of compressed air and blow out all the dust though the vents? Usually that helps.
