First I should explain why im asking this:
I broke the bottom plate of my laptop off and i have to send it in to Hewlett-Packard to get it fixed. I don't have anything embarrassing on my laptop, I just don't want them poking around my personal business.
Im just wondering if I should believe them or not when they say they won't turn my computer on when they fix it because I heard that they still poke around your computer files when they finish fixing it, even though they give you no notification of whether they're going to or not
As far as I know I don't have any viruses or anything relevant to viruses in case anyone was wondering
