Laptop problem

So i have the problem with my laptop. When i turn it on and login to windows the countdown timer starts and says that "your computer will be restarted in x mins". At first i thought that it was a virus so i reinstalled windows but it didnt help. Do you have any idea what it could be?

Are you connecting to the internet without a firewall enabled? If you are, you are getting a virus, either msblaster variant or sasser worm variant. Do not under any circumstances connect to the internet without being behind a router or enabling a firewall.
