Laptop problem

Hello,

Can anyone help me the problem on laptop?
After my laptop finished window update, the message appeared that " do not turn off ..." I let there for a half day. When I came back and turned on power, the power LEDs turned on, but the screen is still black, nothing on the screen.
This is not normal when laptop powering up.
Please help

Remove the battery from the laptop for a minute. Disconnect all external devices. Power the laptop back on and press the F8 key again and again until you get to the Advanced Windows options. The choose "Last Known Good Configuration"

By the way, this is the desktop area of the forums not laptops.

Just to add to the above advice, remove the battery and power cable and hold down the on button for 30 secs, then repalce and try again.
