Laptop problems, power cuts off when using programs

Hi,

I have a toshiba satellite pro A10. the problem i have with it is that when i use either multiple progams or programs that require alot of prossesing power the my laptops power cuts off. theres nothing wrong with the fan and the cpu is not overheating, tho only thing i can think of that has changed is the power adapter. Does anyone know if using an incorrect power adapter would cause these symptoms?

Its like when the proccessor needs to use more power its not getting it then cuts out as if the battery has been pulled out,

any ideas any 1?

probably is the adapter, the battery has had it, just doesnt hold its charge.

i have this same problem, but according to speedfan mine is getting pretty hot. However, it didn't start cutting off until after I reinstalled windows.
