Laptop Processor Question

Are Laptop Athlon 64 3800+ skt 939 the same as a desktop one. for example, if
i bough a 4000+ or a 4800+ or something, will heat be a problem?
 
well some laptops do use normal desktop processors. most do not because of their power consumption. I would say contact the manufacturer to find this out.
 
heat would kill it :P most lappys use "M" processors, or Mobile, hench AMD Athlon 64M, or Athlon XPM, or P4M
