laptop processor?

in terms of laptops....how good are amd processors? would u say its better than going with intel? is the wireless internet okay? cuz if so i'd need to start looking more into it. cuz at the moment most places use intel in their laptops
 
Pentium M outperforms the AMD Turion and it'll save you battery life. As for reliability, Intel has always been there, but AMD has certainly come around due to software developers developing on both platforms nowadays.
 
I have a notebook with a mobile athalon xp processor and a desktop with an athalon xp processor , both run well . I also have 2 desktops that are pent 4.
I know I will get a lot of posts about this...here it goes. Most notebooks or PCs in daily usage, if some one was asked to use either and tell what processor the pc or notebook had they would not be able to tell, for daily usage. One has this the other that, most people will never get the processor near the ragged edge of it's specs.
