I have an Acer Aspire with a socket 754 Sempron 3100. I want to upgrade it to a OEM Turion 64 MT37 Lancaster 2.0GHz Socket 754. Is this possible? Would I need a new heatsink?

2nd Question
I also have a Dell latitude D610 with a Pentium M 760 2.0Ghz Dothan Socket 479mPGA and I want to upgrade to a Core Duo.

The Acer may be upgradable... Probably the main limiting factor would be the BIOS. Check and see what processors similar laptop models support. As for the heatsink, you might... Laptop's don't have any set standard with their heatsinks, so you can't exactly get any 'ol HSF for it... Actually, most laptops have the "best" HSF for whatever processors they can support.

As for the Dell, I really don't know. Pretty much the same as above.
