Laptop Query

Hi

Is it possible to tell when you first got your laptop and started it up? I mean does it store the date somewhere on the system.
I'm running windows XP.

Did you create a new user account when you first started your laptop or was there one premade? Displaying the proporties of C:\Documents and Settings\(your user name) would probably tell you when you started using the laptop.

You also might be able to check the Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Recovery and see your earliest date(unless it's removed some for memory reasons)
