Hello, i am looking for a laptop.
I just got the Acer Predator Helios 300 gaming laptop, which had the GTX 1060, 16 gb ram, and a core i7 7700HQ. It has a 15" screen. The laptop is very heavy, maybe 6-8 pounds, and is not really that "portable"
I need a laptop that is as small and light as possible, that i can use for writing notes, school, etc.
I would not really like it to be windows, so i am looking into the Macbooks and the Chromebooks.
I really love the design of the 2017 12" macbook, but the 13" macbook pro hovers over the 12" mcabook, costing almost the same price, but the pro has better specs. I am leaning to the 12" macbook, because i just LOVE the design, and i keep telling myself i dont need "PRO" specs for writing notes, email, web browsing, etc. but i cant get over the fact that the pro has better specs for the same price.
I am also considering the samsung chromebook pro, or the google PixelBook.
BTW my budget is $1000.
I can get a lightly used macbook pro 13" or a lightly used 12" macbook for under 1000$.
So what would you guys recommend?
