laptop screen problems

every time i try to open my laptop screen beyond an angle of 45 degrees the screen fades away to leave a blanck whit image, can anyone suggest what might be wrong and how to repair it?

Sounds like a short in the cables. Probably not too much you can do. See if it's under warrenty. If not, you could always try and open it up and expore it a little bit. Maybe you'll be lucky and it's just some loose connection

i wonder how often problems can be solved by a loose connection?

My dad has a similar problem, but it's with the backlight. Unfortunetly, he's yet to figure it out. It's like he can open it and it'll be fine for a while, then it starts to mess up again.

is it possible to change the screen from one laptop into that of another one?

Depends on the laptop. Not all are the same... Size, connection, etc.
