Laptop stalled doing reset to factory Windows 10

doing reset to factory on laptop and it has stalled for over an hour. can I shut it down and restart it or will it mess up the reset?

Windows 10 is slow at times, leave it be. If it still stuck after a day, turn off then back on and should start back
