Laptop/TV hookup???

Some laptops have built in s-video or other vido output options already built in. Otherwsie, you will need to get an external tv card.

You want to play your DVD player into your laptop, correct? In this case, you'd need a capture card. There are a few options, either USB(which I don't suggest) then there's PC-Card(PCMCIA) capture devices. There's also firewire, and analog to firewire converters. It all really depends on what you wish to spend as all these could range from about $25 to around $300+.

If you meant output, some laptops have TV out, others require a converter. If you want such a device, I have one I've been trying to sell. Just shoot me a PM if so.

I use an S-Video and it works fine, I hook up up to a 52' Tv and it is crystal clear.

I bought s-video cable, but it doesn't work when I connected to TV? The s-video cable(output) has 7pin to RCA which has 2 plugs(input) red/white?

What did you get? Red and white is audio... An Svideo converter should have a little 4 pin round plug to a yellow connector. You can make one too, converting the wires is quite easy, actually.
