Laptop w/ No OS

I am trying to find a laptop with no Operating system installed... I looked at Dell's laptops with Ubuntu, but Dell Overcharges, IMO... 1Gb of RAM, Core 2 Duo, and any graphics are acceptable.. I will install the CPU myself if the price for a barebone laptop is justifiable... I also plan on installing another Gb of RAM.

a barebone laptop and a laptop with no OS are two completely different things. why cant you just buy a laptop then uninstall the operating system?

If you're trying to save money by not having an OS installed, I wouldnt count on finding many, mainly because then the company has no way of telling if the computer will actually work.
