Laptop WiFi Card Upgrade...Will It Work?

I have an Acer Aspire 1410 running Windows 7 Home 64 and I'd like to upgrade the stock WiFi controller card.

It came with a 2.4G N mini card with two wires. I'd like to upgrade to an AC. How do I find out if it'll be compatible before spending the $40-50 and seeing if it works? Thanks for any help.

Acer's aren't normally picky like HP's when it comes to wireless cards, so it should work. All you do is uninstall the software for the old card, replace the card with the new one, and then install the drivers for the new card.
