laptop will not boot.

ok then what do you think it is ?

im lost...

i was thinking if it was the processor, i would get another as they are not much and try and fix it. but now i dont know if you think it looks fine.

should i try and sell the screen ( the top ) it has the wifi board on it.

its in great shape just wandering if its worth selling.

You could try. Have a look on eBay at completed listings and see how much they went for so that you can get an idea of what you might get, and then you can decide if it's worth it or not.

thanks.

i just found a revue on this laptop and the guy said his did the same thing as mine, were the caps light blinks on and off. hp said processor but it turned out to be the motherboard.

so was just looking them up and there about $100 plus a new processor $30 .

so i may just get them and fix this one. as i do like it.
i dont know ill have to think about it.

You don't need to waste $30 on a new CPU as this one most likely isn't bad (I'm saying this for the third time) and just the motherboard is bad.

In all honesty, I wouldn't waste any money on this computer due to its age and because of what machine it is. Spend your money on a newer, better laptop.
