Laptop will not start after the Window XP logo

I need same help please, when i swith on my laptop after showing the XP window logo and the loading bar the screen goes black and nothing else happens. I have tried to start the computer on safe mode but after I choose the operating system again the screen goes black and "safe mode" is written in the four corners and nothing else happen.
I would appreciate any suggestions on how to get my laptop working again (if that is stii possible) Many thanks

I had problem like that and it was one of my drivers that was messing up with my computer. I had to reinstall windows to fix it. But it's possible to have a solution for that. Wait for more replies.

Repair your operating system by using the CD/DVD disk which contains the SAME OS version and SAME service pack version.The REPAIR process will reinstall all those basic Windows drivers and you will be able to get into Windows operating system and then reinstall your drivers such as the graphic driver,sound driver,LAN driver,Wireless lan driver and so on...

So boot from your Windows XP CD,after the booting is finished,select the first option called "To set up Windows XP now,press ENTER",then click the F8 button on your keyboard to accept the License Agreement and after that you should see this right before repairing:

So now simply just click the "R" button on your keyboard and just sit and relax until the process is completed.
