Laptop without OS MS Vista

:oHi, I am stranger in this country but I need to buy new laptop. The problem is, I want to buy new laptop, but I need to buy it without operating system MS VISTA. I hate this brand. I want to buy laptop and instal OS Linux ubuntu beryl. Pls, can anybody give me friendly advice, where I can buy it?

You'll likely have to get it with XP, then dual boot (but never boot XP if you don't have to ;)

Many places charge extra for no XP or linux as they don't get the adware spyware kickbacks if they don't install windows and the adware.spyware 'demo' apps.
 
If you are going to order a Dell, you are going to have to order it online I think, (I dont know of anywhere that carries a lot of Dell computers as far as retail stores are concerned), but anyway, if you order it online, you can customize all kinds of options, including the operating system that you want. I would reccomend getting XP on it and then buying a Windows Vista upgrade and dual booting that if you want to. The problem is that if you buy it with Vista, and then want to go back to XP, it is very difficult to do.
