J JoeBloggs New Member Jul 29, 2010 #1 I have a Compaq Presario V6500 Laptop and sometimes when I move the screen lid the screen goes blank. Closing the screen lid down and opening it again can some times solve the issue. What can I do to stop this from happening? Thanks.

johnb35 Administrator Staff member Jul 29, 2010 #2 Sounds like there is a loose connection in the screen. Do you know how to take it apart?
