Is there already a Tablet as 'powerful' as standard Laptops?

ps: By 'powerful' I mean you can browse without much lag, open some tabs and windows, run some standard apps simultaneously (ex: powerpoint, excell, mailbox, file manager ...), watch movies smoothly, ...

Shouldn't be a problem with tablet. Don't get cheap though.
I have a samsung galaxy tab4 with a quad core and works well
like for video. im using a slingbox on it to access my cable box.
Never a problem with lag. im guessing you can get it with say
a I7.

I remember back to old days when the discussion was: Will the laptops takeover one day the desktop PC market?
Now the discussion has changed a little bit to: When the tablets will takeover the laptops PC market?
It seems that this day has already arrived.

Yes and no. You can't buy a powerful tablet such as a Surface Pro 4 for $300 so the day that happens will be the day the full laptop may be obsolete.

Ok, I agree with that. Nowadays, tablets [1] with the same performance of regular laptops [2] are much more expensive. If you want something smaller, lighter, quieter and cooler than a laptop, it is going to cost a lot. When this price falls, laptops will have to find another market niche otherwise will become obsolete.

Yeah it's existed for nearly 3 years. It's called the Microsoft Surface Pro. I've got a first gen one with an i5 and 4GB of RAM. Could even run Photoshop absolutely fine on it. You can get the later ones with i7s and now up to 16GB of RAM.
