Laptop's wifi just stopped working

The title pretty much says it all, my laptop (hp dv6225us) has built in wifi. One day, I got on and the orange light just never turned blue. I am positive the problem is in the computer because my phone picks up a few different wifi signals. I have gone through all of the windows troubleshooting and still nothing. When I flip the connection switch on and off, there is absolutely no response, just a steady orange, no response on the screen either. Ive done everything I can think of. I can plug in a ethernet cable and she connects to the internet no problem. What do you guys think?



Few specs on my machine;

Dual amd64's
32 bit vista home premium
gig ram
120gig hd

Go to the little wireless symbol on the bottom right of the screen. Right click, and click diagnose and repair. See what it says.
 
Yeah, your best bet is to make sure that it still recognizes the wireless card, and then go from there. Have you tried updating it to the latest drivers? Maybe something is wrong in that area.
