Laptops with desktop CPUs and desktop chipsets!!!!!!!!!!!

Um... There was a computer made about 4 years ago called the ECS Desknote which used a standard desktop chipset, standard desktop DDR333 RAM, and a SocketA processor :P There was a model that used Pentium 4's as well ;) I should know...I owned one!

There was thread a few weeks back about this laptop. It's a great idea but in my opinion, it still needs a bit more development.
 
maybe with all the new cool running abilities, the desktop grade cpus won't burn up in laptops, my toshiba was a mistake by the company, it runs a 2.8GHz P4 that i had to downclock just so it wouldn't shut down from overheat, and the design of the laptop bottom makes those fan pads useless (i would know, i have an antec one) hopefully with how cool the core 2 duo runs though laptops won't have the issues mine does...
