Laptop's WLAN light not "on" anymore?

Hi,

I went to use my laptop today and noticed that I wasn't connected to my home network. I checked and saw that my laptop's WLAN light was orange instead of blue. The switch is set to WLAN, by the way! I tried both positions and the light stays orange. Vista does not recognize any network adapter int here. What can I do?
 
see if there is a physical on/off switch on your computer, or a keyboard short cut that enables/disables the wireless.
