1. Any compatibility issues?
2. Any suggestions?

This will be a PC mostly for heavy gaming (Battlefield Bad Company 2!) and regular use

Thanks again!

Who cares about a crappy xp theme? Home premium is mainstream, and I would stick with that. Otherwise, build looks awesome.
It's not a theme, it's basically a virtual machine, you can run certain apps sandboxed in case they work with XP but not with Vista/7.

But I'd certainly get Home Premium, I haven't yet seen a program that refuses to run under both Vista as well as DOSBox.

i have windows 7 home premium 64bit and it has compatability mode all the way back to windows 95....

i would chose home premium all the way, its the sweet spot

Do you plan to run crossfire in the future? say in a yr or two? coz im pretty sure that mobo isnt great for crossfire (if you plan to do so). If not then u can disregard my post :)

Fatality, please learn about what you were trying to criticize next time. Also, compatibility mode and the the "Virtual Machine" are completely different. Although compatibility mode will probably work most of the time, the XP mode that comes with pro should work 100% of the time. It's basically like running 2 operating systems at the same time.

Sorry, didn't mean to be crude/bland about it, but I personally see the point of an xp mode when I personally reckon Win 7 is way better.

The XP mode simply allows you to run apps that run in XP but don't work in 7. That's all. You don't have to dual-boot with XP or open a separate virtual machine or anything like that - to the user it's no different from running any other program.
