Latencies?

Ok i see some RAMs have latencies of 4-4-4-12 (with extra voltage?) and others or stock have 5-5-5-18.

But they say those latencies are achieved when the RAM is given extra voltage.

Will there be a huge increase in speeds?

I dont plan on OC'ing and my future comp is in my sig

I assume you are looking at DDR2-800? Even if you aren't better latencies usually net you low single % performance increases (< 10%). All things being equal, go with the lower latencies but if there's a decent price difference go with the less expensive, especially if you aren't going to overclock.

With more voltage you can always get better timings and/or more clock speed when going from stock. You can probably get 4-4-4 with 1.9v.
