lcd backlight replacement

I have a 10 inch zenithink zt180 tablet. The lcd backlight went out and I was wonder how I could replace it. I saw a lot of people saying to replace it with and led light strip, but the only ones I could find were general led's to use with whatever you wanted, will these work or does it need to be some kind of specific light strip?
Could someone please refer me to a light strip that would work, I saw inverters on amazon, but no light to go with them.

Like other LCD's, the backlight is probably built into the LCD itself, so you'd have to disassemble the tablet AND the screen. And the backlight is just a tiny little filament. IMO, it's just not worth it.

Tablets now-of-days are meant to be all but disposable. That's almost certainly going to have an LED backlight, which is all but impossible to replace. I'm sure you could find a replacement screen, but after the work to get into the darn thing and the cost of the screen, you'd probably be almost as well off to simply replace it

I found that the connection on the lcd itself wasn't plugged in all the way, and once I plugged it in it worked great!! I kind of feel stupid that is was just a connection and I did all this research...

and if you looks at the pics you can tell how cheap this tablet is, not hard to get into...
