LCD Cleaning Question

Me gots a question about cleaning me LCD. I got some microfiber cloths for it, and the question is, should I wet them or the LCD somehow before I wipe it the cloths?

I'm not sure what the protocol for cleaning LCD's are and I'm not entirely sure what those particular cloths are about but I'd suggest wetting the cloths and not the display as this might allow water to run down inside somewhere. Really any soft cloth should be fine, dampen it and wipe dry with another dry soft cloth.

Thanks. I guess the microfiber cloths are really soft and made for this kinda stuff, so says the packaging and notebookforums.com.

ya u can wet it, just not too much, do it just like ur cleaning a tv with windex or sumtin, never spray anything onto the screen, good change of it not working

just wring the cloth out like you have never wringed one out before..and from my knowledge, microfiber cloths are unabrasive, lint-free if im not mistaken, and are excellent at removing things such as fingerprints..i have a small one that i carry in my guitar case and it cleans my guitar up very nicely, it has a gloss black finish so you can imagine how quickly it gets printed up.
