LCD gaming display problem, help needed!

Okay guys, I'm here to see if anyone can help me with a problem of mine.

So I got this Samsung LE-40C657 40inch LCD 5 days ago, mainly for Xbox 360 gaming, and also watching shows and movies.

My problem is a weird kind of lag. When I play for example GTA IV the screen suffers from a sort of spikey lag, it doesn't run smooth at all. This also happens in Modern Warfare 2 and Left 4 Dead 2. I KNOW the Xbox 360 isn't a very powerful machine and I KNOW there will be lag with a lot of action, but the lag I see on my new Samsung doesn't display on my other two TV's (LG '42 Plasma, Sony Bravia LCD '40)

I've heard that 100Hz might be a problem, but if that's the case, how come my Bravia is working perfect since it also is 100Hz?

I've also tried to turn off Motion Plus, and it actually made some difference, but I can still notice the lag. PLEASE help! (NO FANBOYS)

I'm not even sure if I even can post this here but since it said LCD monitors, I did it.

I'm actually not so well versed in TVs. The only thing I can think of is display lag, but that wouldn't produce the results you're getting with the spikes and whatnot. The only thing I can recommend is either searching for people with similar issues on the net, or just playing with the TV's settings.

I also have no idea on this one. I hope you figure it out and please share the answer if no one else chimes in with a solution as I'm curious to know the answer too.
