lcd monitor change

i bought a plasma tv planning to use it as a monitor and i read the manual and it said the first thing to do was go to driver mode settings and change the monitor type from
crt to lcd but when i go there lcd isnt available from the pull down menu and i need to get it sorted because everything is huge as it only accepts 640x480 pixels , any ideas ??????

i think the resolution on hdtv are 780 and the next one up

yea m8 av tried that but nothing happens just goes all fuzzy and comes up unsupport mode i will give u a screenshot of it at 800x600

wen i try to take a screenshot it comes out perfect in paint

hmm im pretty sure you video card should recognize it..
althought plasma tvs are not lcd tvs dotn know if that has anything to do with it

Whats the TV plugged into? The TVOut? If so then you're only gonna get 640x480 and maybe 800x600
