LCD monitor is hot

The upper frame of the monitor is really hot, even when the Screensaver is on.
It's also a bit hot in the back side.

Is it the same for you?
Is it normal?
When should I start worrying about it?

Nothing normal about it. im running dual 24" monitors.
Never seen a lcd monitor get hot. Yes, i would be watching closely. It would make me think a short may be developing. Something overheating. Are all your vents clean and clear?
Mine is very little heat from the top vents. No heat at all on the back side. Warm only. not hot.

yes. the vents are clean. everything is normal.
I expressed myself wrong. On the backside of it, it's not hot. it's just warm.
