LCD Screen makes noise?

So I got my ASUS 22" monitor and it's emitting some type of squeal from the back. It isn't that loud, but it's noticeable when my room is quiet. I never knew LCD monitors made these types of sounds. Is there anything I can do besides sucking it up or RMAing it?

Ive had that before on my old "19 LCD monitor but it would only do it occasionaly and last a few seconds.

it still works fine to this day but i would RMA it just to be safe

I was just thinking about the same thing today! I didn't know they make noise. I want to know why. lol I would RMA it too. I'm doing that with this one. Rainbow line down the middle.

its got something to do with the coils on the pcb, i know certain graphics cards do it at certain voltages/clockspeeds
