Lcd Vs Crt

the main difference between a LCD and a CRT is the response time.
on a CRT, the response time is a few nano seconds, while on a LCD the lowest time ive ever seen was 3mS. ( tough.. thats a very good gaming monitor)

some people say that crt's r better and they are but not by much
it isnt enought that u will notice the diffrence so go lcd
lcd is space saving and might as well go for it

dont forget about price differences though. crts are cheaper in general and some people go for price rather than quality.

Maybe its just me but I find the opposite of what everyone is saying about LCD's, the image always looks richer and crisper than any of my CRTs.

thats only the contrast. but you can change that in the video settings of tha card, to make a CRT look the same way.

yes but CRTs are money saving. I'd go with the CRT unless you go to lan parties or something. it all depends on what you want its like pentium or AMD both have an up side and a downside.

Wow I must be dumb so how do you do this, will it take away the "grainy" look of my CRT's.

CRT's are the best, but the main reason why people dont use them is because LCD's are much lighter, smaller, and use less power. LCD's also have a lifetime of 5 years of constant use or something like that, CRT's dont.

my crt is still working after 5years.
its taken punches from lag and shutdowns...i punch the moniter though cause its closest and i dont want to break the case.
