LCD vs LED which monitors???

haha i see, your range is higher so i cant really do anything about it and also i am from Australia, as our prices are quite hefty! I am still looking for more monitor suggestions. I just want 1080P and wall mount it! :D

I don't have any specific recommendations, but I will say that I only notice a slight difference between LCDs and LED LCDs. Unless you really like how it looks I don't think it's really worth the extra $100. IMO it more depends on what brand you get. If you compare a good LCD to a so-so LED you wouldn't see much of a difference.

BTW your link is "Invalid" for me.

Hmmm, is it best to invest in a LED? i know there are some nice LCDs out there but im not sure if i should get a LED :/ . Im thinking since LEDs are very thin, would they be good for wall mounting?

Btw comparing that ASUS monitor to the Viewsonic, which is best out of the two? Or is there a monitor that i should be looking at, in this price range? thanks guys :D

I have some old Viewsonic CRTs that are nice, but I think recently they've been going downhill. Not sure, though. Personally I would trust Asus more.

Hope this helps

Hey
just for your help, i after a lot of head beating, ordered this (will pick up in evening today)
http://www.samsung.com/in/consumer/...or/LS23EMWKF/XL/index.idx?pagetype=prd_detail

23 inch LCD Full HD
+ HDMI +DVI +VGA +A/V RGB+Component +Antenna IN + SPDIF Out +Headphones
+ Built In HDTV Tuner with Remote
+ Dolby Digital Plus, SRS TruSurround HD
+ 5ms RT
+ DCR 50,000:1
+ Brightness 300cd/m²
+ Gr8 looking Rozy black crystal shape & bezel changing with room light
+ Ergonomic (vertical)
+ VESA 75/75 Mounting option
+ Power efficient (50W)

I think those were gr8 features and its availability at my place made me order it.

Though i am not able to find similar model on newegg or other major online sites, the following seems to be the same:

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicat...s.asp?EdpNo=5661942&sku=S203-2381&srkey=P2370 (279$ only here)

Before, i looked at many other similar price range options but selected samsung one in the end. Read here:
