leadtek 7800GT problem, need help asap !

ive got a leadtek 7800GT in this system now (brand new)!

its all running ok but when i go on bf2 if looks gr8 but when i run for example there are FLICKERS of colours !
Ive tryed 2 different sets of drivers, the cd thats came with it and the current nvidia drivers of there web site.

Exact same prob!?

i think the card is not stable coz of the tell tale signs,
is it worth underclocking it to a normal 7800GT ??

stats of the card are 450mhzGPU/1000mhz+
the non-extreme version is 400/1000mhz

if i have to underclock it, how will i go about that ! ive got nTUNE but it has no options for gpu/ram setting

what are your temps? something like the RivaTuner can keep a log .

I found the problem...
The card was clocked to high at stock ! (Extreme edition my ass !)
I underclocked the card from 450/1050 to 400/1000 and it runs gr8.

Im nowhappy with the card & it does its job well, but thats not the point ! i payed an extra 30 bucks for the Extreme edition, all the card is a standard 7800GT overclocked it bolocks off!

So don`t waste your money on Extreme BS !!!! get standard and D.I.Y !
