Learning network security?

Hey

I am trying to learn about internet security as much as possible. If someone over here is familiar with management information systems then that'll be great. I am academically qualified for relevant fields but I wish to get the latest happenings around and I am not a big fan of academics so please refer some certain tutorials which starts from the basics. I don't wish to be an expert by just reading but I need to really pass through those interviews so you guys get the point.

Just hit me up any suggestions if you have.

It's not a tutorial, but it is a very thorough breakdown on what Dell offers for managing IT security risk. Maybe by going through this you can get an idea as to what is being offered in the business world, and then go from there. I hope it helps!
