Learning PhotoShop?

I am looking at purchasing Photoshop and I had used it in a class in high school but hell that was years ago and I am nit even sure what version I was using so I was wondering if there is a guide or a tutorial that would help with learning it? Any recommendations would be amazing.

There are alot of great books that teach you the basics to more advanced techniques.

I also have a book. will it say it?
Because ive been to book stores many.
I always look at the author in in a professional book store.
Who you catering too. Might say intermediate to advanced.
Might be beginner to intermediate.
What ever it is. Get the ISBN and buy it.
just a thought.

sometime ya can't do without the book.
Its a reference.

I've used photoshop for a long time and I still regularly consult my camera RAW book and even CS3 book.

I am looking at doing Photo's. Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 is the one I am looking at which I think is the right one.

I'm not sure if this link has been already provided. Regardless, the link contains video tutorials for beginners. If you would like more advanced tutorials, I'd suggest using a search engine. Many sites other than Adobe provide very good tutorials (even video ones) for free and without registration.
