LEAVE E6600 OC's HERE

...............why am I the only one who can?......maybe iT'S A SIGH! WHAT COULD IT MEAN? AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!..........................or not, could be that it like me better.......or I'm lucky...
 
i got the e6600 to 3.4 today

i was using the old windows 2003 server edition OS though so it locked up at 1600FSB for some reason, but 1 could go to 1511 fsb with 1.3v

maybe 1600 requires 1.4v. anyone know?

ill try in 2 weeks.
 
bigger is better

im with the previous poster who says a bigger case is better for airflow and cooling, i just finished my build using a Gigabyte Aurora full size tower case, i mean how many of us actually need to save a few square feet of space around their desk? ya the case is huge, but so what it sits atop the corner of my computer desk and does what it is supposed to, it would be fine with me if it were even twice as big.A Zerotherm copper heatsink with silent fan using A.S.5, 2 rear 120mm exhaust fans, a 120mm front intake fan, a 120 and an 80mm fan on the psu and 4 20mm fans on the hard drives. i haven't oc'ed yet but think i have enough cooling....
