Leaving your system on.

well it's true, windows sucks compared to mac at RAM utilization...

anyways, I think it's a bad idea to run it 24/7. there's really no point unless you're uploading torrents or something like that. you don't leave your car running or your xbox all day so why your PC?

I do leave my PS2 on all day.
 
with decent cooling the only reason to turn it off is to save power. i leave all my machines on almost 24/7 and only reboot when i need to swap operating systems.
